Annie Mist Thorisdottir is an elite CrossFit athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. She also trains and coaches in Crossfit Reykjavik, where she is co-owner. Annie is the only female in the history of sports to have won her place in the CrossFit Games two times. She was a second place finisher in the both the 2010 and the 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir is a famous Icelanders CrossFit weightlifter athlete and media star. Her fame stems from her being the first woman to win The CrossFit Games twice in 2011 and 2012. Her other accomplishments include taking home both the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2013 and 2017. Annie was born and raised up in Reykjavik Iceland along with her parents and brothers. From a very young age Annie was a fervent sports fan and enjoyed training. She won many medals at school events. In 2009, she was the first participant in the CrossFit competitions in California in which she did well in initial games. Annie Thorisdottir turns 31 in 2021. She stands 5'7 tall, and weighs approximately 67 kg. Annie began her CrossFit journey in 2009 in California. She was successful in her initial competitions, placing within the top 10. Although she didn't claim any trophy and she finished this tournament ranked 11th. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. When she competed in CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen. She finished with a second place finish and earned the silver medal same year. Following that, she participated again in CrossFit Games and took home the gold medal by virtue of her dominant performances. The first woman to ever be the winner of CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie was again the winner of her first CrossFit Games because of her extraordinary performance. She became the first woman to win has won two CrossFit Games consecutively. Besides this in 2014 she took home a silver award and recently in 2021 won a bronze medal in CrossFit Games. Presently, Annie is a coach and trainer with her team at Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. In the last few years, as a well-known athlete Annie is a model many sports brands like Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Renaissance the Nuun Hydration Periodization Sidekick among others. Some 2,000 people have subscribed to her self-titled Youtube channel where she posts videos for training, family and other videos as well as travel videos.
