Apryl did not get the chance to be selected as she was not able to wow the judge. Later she was introduced to the artist on a tour with her as a backing singer. They eventually decided to join the first cast of Vh1's popular series Hollywood. The first season chronicles the birth and pregnancy of their child Megaa Omari. In season two, she confronts the challenges of her life and the insecurities associated with her recent success. Omarion was in the middle of a tour, in the United States and Apryl did not accompany his reunion for taping. Apryl declared on the 7th of December, 2015 that the pair had left the show, and that they were not returning for the second season. The 7th March of 2016 Apryl gave birth to their daughter, named A'mei Kazuko. The baby was born four months later. Apryl and Omarion separated. Apryl appeared as a special character in season four, meeting Lil' Fizz and discussing a possible B2K reunion. Apryl has returned to the sixth season following her custody battle with Omarion and speculations over her romance with Lil' Fizz. The two confess to being engaged in a romantic relationship during the course of the show and puts her in conflict with Moniece as well as others on the show.
