Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy (born June 13 1962) is an American actress from America. After her debut on film in the 1983 film Bad Boys she became known as one of the Brat Pack actors. She also appeared as a character in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985) and Short Circuit (1986). Sheedy received an Independent Spirit Award Best Female Leading for her performance in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998). Ally Sheedy's is both an American actress, and author. In the early 80s, she started her career as a film actress with the action film Bad Boys. She was well-received for this film. The film, which was helmed by Rick Rosenthal also starred other well-known actors like Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown and Alan Ruck. In the following film after her debut was released in 1985, she starred in the comedy and drama The Breakfast Club. John Hughes directed one of best films aimed at high schools. Though the budget was only $1 million, the film's earnings surpassed the mark of $50 million. While she was doing this the first time on TV, her television debut took place on CBS Schoolbreak. The show targeted teenagers that began to air in April of 1980. The other shows she appeared in include Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid as well as Hill Street Blues. in Little Sister she makes a appearance as a guest. She is also as a character in X-Men Apocalypse a superhero film with her part being only a short cameo. Sheedy is known for her amazing performance, has won numerous awards. Sheedy was awarded the MTV Movie Awards' Silver Bucket of Excellence Award 2005.
